THE NATURAL CHEM GLYCERINE PLANT1.0

Houston, Texas and Corning, Iowa

Natural Chem plans to develop as many as four (4) glycerine refining plants as part of its overall plan to commercialize the Natural Chem Process. The first two (2) plants are planned for Houston, Texas and Corning, Iowa. Each of these plants, will be capable of producing 184 million pounds per year of refined, 99.7% pure natural glycerine (“USP Natural Glycerine”) meeting United States Pharmacopeia (“USP”) specifications widely used in consumer and industrial products. Each plant will buy approximately 210 million pounds/year of ester crude glycerine from biodiesel producers.

Natural Chem Glycerine Plant, A Division Of Natural Nutrients USA, LLC

Corning, Iowa
This facility will produce a refined, 99.7% pure natural vegetable, kosher glycerine (“USP Natural Glycerine”) meeting United States Pharmacopeia (“USP”) specifications widely used in consumer and industrial products. The Iowa Plant will also buy approximately 193 million pounds/year of ester crude glycerine from biodiesel producers.  This crude, combined with the fermentation crude glycerine from the Wisconsin Plant, will enable the Iowa Plant to produce over 184 million pounds/year of USP Natural Glycerine.

Glycerine and the Market

GlycerineGlycerine is a clear, colorless, odorless, viscous liquid with a sweet taste, derived from petrochemical and natural feedstocks with the latter obtained from animal fat and vegetable oil products from grains. The market pays a premium for the kosher vegetable, USP natural glycerine. Natural Chem has an entirely new source of glycerine by recovering it from the ethanol thick stillage. This glycerol is a byproduct of the fermentation process used in ethanol production and is not derived from a fat or vegetable oil. There are over 2,000 established uses for glycerine in the drug, food, beverage, chemicals and synthetic material industries. It is used in cosmetics, toiletries, sweeteners, solvents, softening agents, cough syrups, surface coatings, paints and many other products.
